Having several departments invested in the visit means better funding and greater participation in the dialogue. And if you're at a university or hospital, please consider asking me to do more than give one talk while I'm at your institution. If you're in a city that includes another relevant institution, consider collaborating with them on a multi-day visit. All this maximizes my usefulness while I’m on a work trip.
